Hi Lovers!
Another interesting day in my life... this one has to do with something called "Negotiations" and let me tell you, they suck! IF you do not have the power, then don't do it. You will lose every single time.
So a friend of mine called and asked me to get all dolled up and meet her at a 'normal' bar. I don't like going to 'normal' bars becuase I am a touch afraid of getting spotted and beaten up. I got spotted all right. 2 guys came up to me while I was waiting for my friend - one on either side of me. Offered to buy me a drink. I said no. They bought me an apple Martini anyway. While one of them is chatting me up, the other, in the most obious way, puts something in my drink.
I turned to him and said, "Nice move, Slick!" He replies to me, "Go ahead and drink it." I said, "No thank you... again." And signaled to the bar tender - who promptly ignored me!!! The other guy says to me that he'll drink it if I will. I say no again. He leans across me to get the drink and while doing so plants his hand firmly on my thigh... I jumped back out of my chair, knocking it over, and causing him to spill the drink.
The bar tender comes over and asks the 3 of us to leave!
I started to explain to him what was going on and he says to me, "Sweetie, you are asking for it! And we don't allow professionals in here." And walks away...
The 2 guys try to escort me out of the bar - one on each arm. I tell the door guy that these 2 guys are trying to take advantage of me... and you know what? He immediately ejected both of them with a single move!
He took me to a table and had me served with a glass of water and a red wine, fired the bar tender and for the rest of the evening made sure I was well attended.
My friend showed up and joined me and we ended up having a truely wonderful time! As we were leaving (no bill ever arrived), the door guy asked if we had had a suitable experience. I thanked him profusely and tried to give him a $20 dollar bill. He put the money back in the pocket of my coat.
When I got home, I took the bill out and he had written his name and phone number on it. Needless to say, I plan on making sure he has a wonderful experience very soon!
God Bless the Good Gentlemen everywhere!
